The panel considered the challenges and opportunities for the NHS and its stakeholders in addressing inequalities and inequity, such as: local strategy and planning; improving access for hard to reach groups; backlogs leading to poorer outcomes and the opportunity for industry to help the NHS find hard to reach patients who can benefit from their solutions.
We also drew insights from the this May, which united senior leaders working across the NHS and wider system to discuss short-term tactics and long-term preventative strategies to deal with existing and reduce future inequalities.
